By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.
1. Eligibility & Account Use
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on this Site. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
2. Products, Pricing & Availability
- We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our golf carts, including specifications such as seating, range, motor size, and color. Actual color and finish may vary slightly from photos, and some listings are drafted from manufacturer specifications and may be updated once we confirm exact details.
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed, in which case we will contact you before processing.
- Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse any order.
3. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We use third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card details on our servers. Orders are not final until payment is confirmed and we send an order confirmation.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Assembly
- Estimated delivery timeframes are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Delivery delays caused by carriers, manufacturers, or events outside our control are not our responsibility.
- Some golf carts ship partially assembled. Where assembly is required, instructions will be provided; you are responsible for ensuring assembly is completed correctly, or for engaging a qualified technician, before use.
- Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, unless otherwise required by law.
5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy, available on the Site. Golf carts may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty; warranty terms, conditions, and claims processes are set by the manufacturer and are separate from, and do not expand, any obligation we have under these Terms.
6. Golf Cart Use, Safety & Legal Compliance
- Golf carts sold through this Site are low-speed vehicles intended for use on private property, golf courses, resorts, and other locations where permitted. Many of our carts are not street-legal or certified for use on public roads unless separately equipped and registered in accordance with local law.
- You are solely responsible for confirming and complying with all local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, and regulations governing the operation, registration, insurance, and licensing of the golf cart in your area before use.
- Only licensed, physically capable drivers of an appropriate age (as required by the applicable manufacturer and local law) should operate a golf cart. Seat belts and posted occupancy limits should always be used and observed.
- We are not responsible for injury, death, or property damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, improper assembly, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, or use of the product in violation of applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Legacy Golf Carts and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the Site’s operation or security, to submit false or misleading information, or to attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Golf Carts and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
